THANKYOU !!!!

Percy Shaw is the man that invented cats-eyes so we could find our way safely home from Tranmere on that dark, dreary foggy night all those years ago.

The 'Spot the Ball' photographers will be out in force this weekend.

Why do they always use pictures from foggy games?

Someone's stolen my car! I parked it outside 5 minutes ago, but I just looked on google earth and it's not there...

It's alright though I think i've tracked it down. In a weird coincidence it seems to have been put back on the drive of the house I lived in 4 years ago...

get back on oxf*rd topic

we have undersoil heating, which means that the ground temperature will be higher than the air, meaning no fog, i think, judging by the ITV explanation of it all

Just saw interview with coppell on sky sports news from earlier today at the training ground and couldn't see much behind him because of the fog

I have distant memories of another game where you couldn't see the other goal. Must have been mid 80's at the old Baseball Ground.

I think Colin Baille and Steve Wood dived to head the same ball in that game. Baille was spark out and Wood got up and was doing the headless chicken routine with his legs all over the place.

Then there was a cup match at Watford in the 70s. We lost heavily and all the goals were scored at the end where we couldn't see. I spent 45 minutes watching a bank of fog and hearing the Watford fans cheering when they scored and the 45 minutes watching the ball appearing regularly out of the fog and coming to us.

just got back from a long trip up to Brummyville and back. the fog is the thickest i have EVER seen. goin up the M40, we could not see anything. probably up to a distance of 50 metres in front. maybe slightly less. anyways, don't be too hopeful for the match.

Forbury Lion If the fans can't see the pitch then the game should be postponed.

Agreed. We pay alot of money to go to football and if we can't see the whole pitch the game shouldn't be played.
