Surely weekends, terraces, old grounds etc aside

We want a home tie against either lower league opposition or against a struggling side ie Watford or even Fulham.

There is a genuine chance for us here of a final.

I'm suprised that so many people think that we're in a with a real chance.

I'm still at the point where I hope we win cup games but don't care too much if we don't because the Prem's still my major concern.

I'll probably start to care if we reach the last 8 which, I imagine, is when Coppell will start to take it seriously too.

Win the next game and we are in the last 8 - so if you would care then, why not care about who we play next?

After todays games 4 of the top 8 in the Prem will be left, and that includes us, we must have a chance .

Up north at university, someone crap, northern and away would suit me down to the ground. A day by the sea in Blackpool would be brilliant if they dump out Norwich.

As I stated all along, people need to have more confidence in the team. If the strongest side is picked from now on theres no reason why Reading can't reach the semi final at the very least even if drawn against a big club in the next round.

Funny how those that kept banging on about only caring about survival are now getting excited about the FA Cup.

For me it like this...

If we draw a lower division team...Great! We can play our second-string team without really knowing where we stand in regard to the real competition.

If, however, we draw a Arse, Utd, or Chelski our second-stringers won't cut it (even against their second-stingers) and we take the risk of giving our first-team players one extra game I don't believe they need.

Why would I care at the point of the last 8? Not sure! Probably because those games would have that magic word attached... Final.

Dirk Gently Got to be an away draw, and not one in London.

Promised Mrs DG that we'd go away somewhere that weekend, and so if we're at home I'll have to miss it - but if it's away we can just happen to be staying somewhere nearby.

I'm sure she will love Middlesborough in Feb.

I want any home game, think it will be Cheatski away.

Would be nice to get Plymouth at home - there's a matter of a small amount of revenge to be had.

Wolves or West Brom away would be good for me. I don't mind too much who we get, so long as it's not one of the Big Three or Blackburn.

Choice 1 - Anyone outside of the Prem - home or away
Choice 2 - Prem team at home less the 'big 3' left in
Choice 3 - Prem away avoiding the 'big 3'

This could be the year!
