BobKnows Not the best commentator I agree. But time and experience may fix that. That said, most of these idiotic posters, would vilify her and any other female commentators, regardless. It is clear her shortcomings are, for some reason, twice as inexcusable as her male colleagues. The absolutely inanity of Motson and co. these days, for example, drives me round the oxf*rd bend. But that, apparently, is OK

Well said.

Using too many well-worn football cliches is a bit grating and she obviously needs to develop a more personal style, but Motson is just a parody of himself now - so which is worse?

I have no objections to Oakley at all. Not great by any means but she makes a refreshing change to be honest.

Y21_Royal BUT she is just too high pitched and screechy for that time in the evening.

That is definitly the issue. I honestly had to turn the volume down and fast forward, as it was giving me a headache. Plus I missed the everton goals

Nevermind though, I'll get through it.

Why didn't you just mute the sound?! :?

Ian Royal
Bowman's Quiver I think that the rules have changed this season.

It's not where a challenge is first made but where the player who has been challenged goes to ground that marks the spot the infringement takes place.

Cast iron penalty if (a big IF I know) I'm correct.

I thought it was a bit dodgy, but understandable that it was given. If Lawro says it was a pen then I'm happy.

Same here, the replay on Setanta suggested it wasn't a penalty. I also thought Torres had a good claim for a penalty in the first half, though he didn't help his cause by making the most of it.

Do you if I can get the MOTD highlights online? I'm an exile so was unable to watch it. I checked footytube and they have the highlights there but only without the post-match commentary. I faintly recall a thread in the past about how to see the full MOTD (with post-match commentary). Thanks.

you could try

Not tried it myself, but for £2 I think I will give it a go next weekend for the Brum game. The Liverpool game is available from midnight tonight I think.

It's a conspiracy!
