We're playing very well indeed. A few heart in mouth moments, but this is exactly the type of performance we have been missing when we move away from 4-4-2.

We may have to remind you about this...

Platypuss So, against the Prem Champions we've got a midfielder at centre half, a winger in central midfield and a striker on the right wing.

No evidence that we need to strengthen at all, then.

The fact that it's also the best balance we've had for some time speaks volumes.

I don't see a problem - it's not ideal but we are making a damn good go of it. We ned to work VdS a bit more though while we are in the game.

What a brilliant first half.
Reading are playing beautifully.
What a graet save by Hahnemann from Hargreave's free
kick. They're standing toe to toe with United and looking
as good if not better than the champs!!

Sonko keeps banging them in for Walsall. Shouldn't we think about recalling him from the loan?

Well i for one am absolutely delighted. Even if this goes the way of the Newcastle game last week i will be able to reflect on an excellent first half

We are playing great! Cisse is doing brilliantly at centre-back. Hunt is playing well in the centre of midfield, Doyle is giving us really good options at right wing and Lita is really fighting with Vidic.

Why didn't we play like this against Arsenal? It makes me think we could easily have beaten Portsmouth if Sonko hadn't have been sent off...
