From someone who brought us such a clever user name, its amazing what a poorly thought out post this is.
When people speak of someone as a legend (not entirely sure people do about Harps?) it's for the service he has given over a number of years. Your argument surely is whether he is good enough to hold down a place in our Premiership team and not whether this guy has given us his all for several years. He really doesn't deserve quite so much vehemence surely?

Quite a few people are voting him as POTY.

Do you and Royalee occupy the same body - or even share the same fractional brain?

That's not a dig at Harper, more that there are threads such as these and people are voting him POTY which shows how shit we must have been.

Alan Partridge Hahnemann, Bikey, Rosenior, Shorey, Matejovsky, Doyle, Kitson, Harper to an extent, Ingimarsson, DLC, Duberry, Lita, Little. is that enough?

Unlike some, my view has been judged on said players performances for Reading and not previous clubs.
DLC has hardly had many bad games for us.
Duberry is a solid defender, has his limitations but i guarantee he wouldn't have been bullied around like Ivar was on saturday.

Brilliant, do you want me to reel off the games where Harper's been shit this season? It'll amount to more than a freak result against a Liverpool side which gave up after 70 minutes?

Will you include the freak result at Middlesborough, our only win on the road. The winner scored in the dying minutes of a game by a player with a never say die attitude.
Or not?
