Behindu
RoyalBlue As alluded to earlier: More games played at the proper time of 3pm on a Saturday.

Yes please !!

I hate my kids missing out on games we have paid for because they get shifted to times they cannot go to. 3pm on Saturday is when football should be played... back home for wrestling with Kent Walton and Dixon of Dock Green !!

You forgot that new Doctor Who programme with William Hartnell.

JimGRoyal 1 Lower ticket prices
2 See our players performing against their true peers
3 Less Prima Donna behaviour by same
4 No need to go through building stadium extension, walking through dust etc.
5 No chance of getting into Europe
6 Parachute payments and lower player wages means JM has smile on face
7 A £2m player is a big deal
8 Gary Lineker doesn t need to smirk through the word "Reading"
9 Lawro forgets who we are
10 SSC forgets who we are

you need to get a grip son, so we've had a rough start to the season big deal. all this doom and gloom has been saved up since last year and at the first oppertunity the moaning squad are out in force.

papereyes 11. Its a bit shit but at least it knows its shit.

Like that slightly chubby girl who is left on the dancefloor at 1:45.

well i fell in love with that chubby girl so there.

i miss the championship at least we always had something to look forward to maybe reading are not made to be in the premiership maybe they are but all i know is that most of my fndest memories are from when reading were in the old division 2 and 1 im not saying we should be there now they just realy neeed to pull the proverbial finger out if they dont want to be back down there.

10 benefits of the championship:

1 - play against giant teams like Scunthorpe
2 - smaller crowds, so a half-empty stadium and lower gate receipts
3 - lower TV revenues
4 - we are seen as a 'yo-yo' club and so even less attractive to the top players
5 - the growth of this club, in terms of its fan base and in terms of media, grinds to a halt
6 - players like Shorey and Lita leave the club for relatively small fees
7 - we sign inadequate 'name' replacements paid for with our parachute funds
8 - at least a season spent as the laughing stock 'little club got too big for his boots' in the Championship whilst Southampton win promotion
9 - one division closer to Leeds
10 - Madejski sells the club for half what it is worth now and by 2011 we are in League Two.

Quite looking forward to:

-Cheaper season ticket
-Cheaper away days
-Winning away
-Meeting up with old rivals again (although it will be strange with no Stoke)
-Having fun again
-An away game I can cycle to
-Fewer hangers-on

Roll on August the 9th!

'Greed on every single point.

Apart from the cycling bit. Possibly the winning away also, also the cheaper season ticket, and yeah probably cheaper away days.

I'm also looking forward to every single person referring to Reading as "we", I would say the majority can't even name the first XI.

07RFC beating our record of 106 points!

Dream on! We've got a good head of steam up now so more likely it will be beating our all-time low of this season!

No doubt we'll be expected to pay for through the nose for the pleasure too!

Well put it this way, I'll be spending less on a season ticket next season than I did this year.............

Said for much of this season that I couldn't really care less if we stay up or go down. For me I will still go and watch and cheer them however they are doing on so who the opposition is really makes little difference.

If I really think about it I reckon I would be more excited about a season in the CCC as I can only assume that a season in the Premier League would bring about the same dissapointments as this one.

The only thing that would dissapoint me if we went down would be losing Kitson because, well, I think he has probably been our best player for a few seasons now.
