The thing is it'll be virtually impossible to arrange a time that we know for definite he'll be there and that people won't be at work/school....hence why I suggested getting as much press on to this possible if people are serious then even if he's not there in person it'll filter back to him....

Exactly Stranded. The chances of being there at the same time as SSC are remote. Especially if he's taking a few days to think about it. However, whilst he's considering his position he gets to hear how much we want him to stay, it might make his mind up for him!

Great idea and quite moving to see the feelings for SC , the man's a god in my eyes and anything that keeps him is worth doing .................I've this horrible feeling though he's going to fall on his sword.......I think he's exhausted and needs a break ......I think the online petion is a great idea as it will get a huge amount of us signing up asap .....fingers, toes , legs, arms , nuts crossed he stays

Steve, if you quit now you'll only be getting under your Mrs feet, you know it, I know it and she knows it. What greater challenge in your life do you need in getting a team like ours back in the Premiership at the first time of asking.
