sounds a good signing, fairly young but also experienced enough to pretty much walk into the side. The question is, is he cover or a replacement for someone..

daveewington Another player who SC has signed before, at Brentford!

But I think its something we deperately need, even just to shake up the squad a bit.

Although does this mean Hunt is on his way? Or does it simply mean that SC has given up on Convey, like the rest of us.

I suppose he gives us competition for places across the midfield. He can play on the right as well can't he? Kebe and Shunt's places are now not so secure.

So a good signing.

Chuffed to bits. Sounds like Shunt is on his way then. Really looking forward to seeing this little player at Wolves. Wonder if he'll come on as sub or something. Now all we need is Surmann and Campbell-Ryce. U rzzzzzz

I'd imagine for the moment he is a replacement for Bobby, and if Shunt leaves I think we will probably see J C_R come in.

'Greed. Fantastic signing for what will be cheap money. He has quality on the ball that our current midfielders lack.

Good signing.

Hunt going would make it even sweeter.

tlcs NOT ANOTHER MIDFIELDER !!!

GUESS WE NEED TO PLAY 4-5-1 FOR THE REST OF THE SEASON

We played 8-0-2 at Swansea so 4-5=1 aint too bad !

always amazed at some of the comments on here..

So what if he's ex Brentford, we've not done too badly with that OLD connection so far under Coppell....

Jay signing IMO is great news as we need a play maker in the middle of the park.

I welcome this signing and hope yet again it proves to be a suburb VALUE for money purchase for the club and this lad peeks and succeeds under Coppell.

Very happy!

winchester_royal Strong rumours that he'll be signing tomorrow. Good news if true, lovely little player in my opinion, and can pass the ball unlike most of our midfield.

You were right. Well done.

Another good signing. He is a skillful winger and did impress me when we played Coventry.

Bees fans I know always considered him to be a better prospect than Hunt when they were both there. He was higher in the pecking order for the left wing position, so be interesting to see where he slots in. 2 and a half year contract seems to shout Bobby replacement to me unless Hunt is off

Now I feel guilty for shouting 'Ronnie Corbett' at him when we played them earlier in the season as he came over to take a throw in

Good signing though.

Coppell says that he has been brought to SUPPLEMENT the midfield, which either suggests no one is leaving or that Coppell is being diplomatic !

He's obviously a kick in the teeth for those crying out for big names, but of course that bloke from Barnsley is still a possibility.
