You know, I can't help but feel that someone is approaching this the wrong way.

RFC fans: "We don't want to go because of [list of things including, basically, aggressive fans]"
Sole Wolves representative, in an aggressive manner: "You're all wrong and you made it up anyway"

Seriously, I can't see that convincing anyone. Maybe things have changed, maybe those events were one offs but you're doing a fantastically poor job of arguing it.

Should we all talk loudly in fake, comedy, horribly nasal Wolverhampton accents at the match and see the reaction we get - i.e. "Ohhh, ee's norra very good playa is 'e'' Gerroff your backside you little poofter, that's norr 'ow we play footbawl in the black country, pal?

peckhamwolf
Tony Le Mesmer PeckhamWolf, i still await your comments regarding Reading's "Racist" Support.

Monkey noises at Shaun Newton in the holocaust leg of the playoffs which triggered Lescott and Blakes exuberant celebrations.

LOL. now i know where you are at. The chants of "Hoops!, Hoops! Hoops...." when we get a corner constitute racist abuse? I remember a Wolves fan on a radio phone complaining about that and making a complete tit of himself.

LOL at all the build up on the fans sites being of what happened 5 years ago. I'm really excited about tonight's match, Wolves a team who have quite deservidly earnt their place at the top of the Championship playing some awesome attacking football with players who will get better and make them a nice return in a couple of years time. I'm hoping we won't go and shut up shop, but the way SC is talking suggests he'll be more cautious.

Im looking forward to cying a 3-0 cruise for Reading. Wolves will bottle it, if we play to our potential we are alot stronger than them. I think tonight is the kind of night that Reading need.

peckhamwolf Garbage. No other reports of such activity at Molineux in the last few years, limited reports of crowd trouble compared with other clubs in the UK, Reading's hatred of Wolves being well and truly one directional and incidents like the ones fabricated in the evening post happening at other grounds across the country every weekend (not that that is any kind of excuse for it) means it's not likely that you'll have objects thrown at you, it's a remote possibility just as it at every other ground (Sir Jack Hayward for instance was spat on at the 'Mad Stad').

Phew, I'm delighted to hear that the shoeing I got in the subway was a figment of my imagination. Thanks for clearing that up.

Molineux remains the only ground in the country where I've been assaulted.

And Wolves fans remain the only ones who've ever personally threatened me for going in "their" pub (their pub being the Spread Eagle at Elm Park).

peckhamwolf Wolves fans are going to have to have amazing aim to spit/throw urine/axes/knives/darts etc.

You've sold an embarassing 380 tickets.

Perhaps John Madejski would like to borrow the 'You've let us down again' banner and demonstrate it at your racist excuse for supporters (even mentioning the holocaust in the same breath is something you should be ashamed of- the only thing remotely comparable is the propaganda also bleated out by your local paper) although I think John is more interested in his new development at Chatham Street these days.

You've wound him up again.
