I was born in Middlesbrough. We moved to London when I was 7 and I had my Middlesbrough accent beaten out of me. The kindest thing anyone's ever done for me!!

Of course to me, Burnley is in the deep south. Whippets, flat caps etc are still alive and well in the real north (at least in the posh parts).

Now there'sa concept - posh part of Middlesbrough.

braindead I have soft spot for Reading as my little sister lives in Whitley Wood, and I have been down a few times to sample the bustling metroplis and thriving culture that the South has to offer us poor Northerners.

Is she fit?

Are you asking if I think my sister is fit??

Of course, I am a Northerner after all, so yeah, she is quality

You weird lot

Jimmy Kebe - will score a goal & tomorrow will be the start of summer
(Unlikely...impossible as such.)

James Harper - Probably won't even start. Where has Mr Convey gone?!

Liam Rosenior - Why won't he fancy playing tonight? ehh. Wasn't he really good against Burnley when they were at our place??

Given that Jimmy Kebe's career has seen him based at Lens and Boulogne, which are no more tropical than Dover, it seems odd to assume that he'll be frightened by the first bit of cold air he feels.

Way too cold for star jumps. Quality two handed pointing though.

Early on there was a bit of synchronised Rosenior-Harper paired pointing which lead to neither of them winning the ball.

rg6royal Tbh though it is just a matter of time before he gets his first goal and if you put a thousand chimps in a room with a thousand typewriters, after a sufficiently long time, one of them will type out a Shakespearean sonnet. Another way of looking at it, 11 Kebes in a football (sic) team and one of them will eventually score a goal, given suficiently long a time. It's called the law of averages. I mean, even Murty has scored twice for us!

Isn't that some of the sort of work Harper does which goes unnoticed by us silly souls who cannot comprehend the amount he does during the game? Andy Hughes used to do that too and he's since proven his worth with other clubs.

Funny that because there are some saying our central midfielders did a good job. So for some it wont be "QED, basically"

and apart from scoring it sounded like kebe played a blinder
was all over them until the last half an hour, and the only thing wrong(again) was no shooting boots.
to say that he didnt perform because he didnt fancy it in the cold and wet is simply a delusional attempt at confirming your rubbish point, because he was clearly well up for it.
