Ideal
Vision We've already bought his replacement. From the Championship..£2m

And what a horrendous way to spend £2M, Madejski must be livid.

So would you sell him now, and cut our losses? Or even break even...?

I would like to see your view on that on record in case he develops into another profitable signing for us...

After 1 league game?.I very much doubt it.

He means that it was 2M spent on a footballer, not a painting.

Should never have signed him, I cant see him ever making it big, he cant be bothered. And will soon be suspended again. really cannot believe we made a profit on his fee.

And for those that say BURNLEY, they have more success and history than we do.

He will be a superb signing for the team prepared to play him.

Clean sheet and a win against the champions - not a bad start! It wasn't even him who gave the pen away - please don't tell me the Andre we knew and loved has gone all serious!

Royal Rother To think that Sonko and Duberry were selected in front of him time and again makes me feel a bit sad.

Massively under-used by Coppell in the last 3 years in my opinion.

Whatever his foibles we had a real star on our books but never really gave it a chance to shine.

Agreed

Yep may well prove to be a complete bargain for Burnley.

Absolute daylight robbery, bargain of the century if he keeps up the Mr Serious act.

Yes, a bargain.

Yes, I miss him being at "my" club.

Yes, I think he should have started much more for us.

No, he won't keep up being serious - I expect a pen or red card or probably both within the next 3 games.......

It'll take time with Bikey. He will 'blow up' again at some point I'm sure. But what people seem to forget is that for all his previous, the incident at Burnley was as shocking because it was out of character as anything else. Bikey had been the epitomy of good behaviour since he had to grow up overnight after the African Nations problems.

I'm absolutely astounded by the assertion that it was "out of character" - the whole of the football world knows that there is something in Bikey's temperament that's a bit suspect, and so it's relatively easy to wind him up if you target him. qv Cardiff away and our first ever friendly match, as well as Burnley and the African Nations Cup.

Four instances in over two years, two of those at either end of his time with us. My point is that, whilst I don't question his dodgy temprement, Bikey was never a Batty or a Keane - he didn't get a million bookings, wasn't overly aggressive on the field, and wasn't miserable off of it.

To be fair the sending off at Cardiff was a joke. Couldn't see what the red card was for at the time and still couldn't when I watched it on TV when I got home. Still, I can't disagree that on the whole he was a complete nutter and it's only a matter of time before he loses it again- I'll fcukin' miss him though. Undoubtedly a cult hero.

He isn't an aggresive person. He does silly things now and again because passion takes over.

Agreed - he's over-committed - but unless he can channel that passion properly he'll always be a potential liability to any team. And because it's a passion thing, it seems the more high-profile and more important the game is the more likely he is to lose it.
