Great as Coppell was, it was time for him to go as his heart was no longer in it.

Great as Madejski is/was, he clearly doesn't want to stay so the sooner he finds someone to buy him out the better.

What do you think he's been trying to do for the past 3 years, he has openly stated he is willing to sell the club if the right person comes along. He doesnt want to sell the club and leave it in trouble and the reality is nobody has come in with a serious offer. I love the way everyone thinks that people are just queuing up to buy the club and Mr Mad is holding out, maybe we should do what Liverpool did and look whats happened to a great club since then. If all of you have friends with the funds then get them to make an offer, otherwise just leave Mr Mad to sell to the right person.

Totally agree with you there BH, most fans begrudge the cost of the football bus, wouldn't dream of making a small donation of even a fiver for the club but expect the Chairman to throw millions of his hard earned at the club for no return. As you said, they're not exacting clammering over each other to make Sir John an offer.

There was a better than average chance that a new owner would have come in if we had invested and developed during our second season, instead of putting the shutters up, now we are drifting down and down so we are becoming less and less atracive to any potential buyers.

Our value must be dropping like a stone with the present position we find ourselves in, ironic really that investment 3 years ago would have seen the club, probably still in the Premiership and very marketable, £10-15m three years ao might possibly have put £20-£30m on the value, if the club had invested,progressed and stayed in the top flight.
