I think he meant tabb (I assume) should have left the player ... was there time for that ? Guess I should just wait and see the highlightsIan Royal Oh undoubtedly the post should have been covered, but there was no one to cover it because Tabb had to pick up a player.

howserRG30howser I just dont think that Madejski would pay out for a decent striker
So the £1.8million we were willing to shell out for Tommy Smith counts for nothing?
No because he fudged and farted around, almost like he was wanting someone else to come in for him, and then we could feel great for him that he was doing his best, and he could look all dejected and disappointed that we were unable to clinch the deal, but, but it does show the ambition of the club,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,blahhh when its too late to get anyone else

Don't get me wrong, I'm not blaming as I've not seen the goal - just curious as to BR's comments.Ian Royal No way Tabb should have left the Player Horsham. THat would have left a tall man unmarked on the back stick. Unforgivable. Blame the rest of the team leaving someone spare at the back. Not Tabb who did the only thing possible and was caught out by a superbly placed header.

Depends on positions of ball and player. And he's right, there should have been a man on the post, but ask yourself this. If you're Tabb, do you mark an inanimate piece of wood or an opposition player?

Stupid I may be but blind I'm not. All I see is my team in the relegation zone as they were before the game. The only difference between tonight and the previous games is we actually managed a few shots in the first half as opposed to the 89th minute ones we usually get.
Rodgers may be as you claim a "top man" but he is no more suitable for this job than Kingsley. If Church failed in the most vital aspect of the game then he failed never mind his movement. Mills did ok as did Tabb and Matejovsky had bright moments as well. However, we lost and no amount of rubbish on the radio or on here about the Positives from the match disguises the fact that we have Jack to show for it.
That, I'm afraid, shows just how short sighted you are.

You little boy are a complete mook stop showing off and realise that tonight was just like all the other games the only difference being we had more shots than usual. We still came out for the second half after yet another half time team talk by Rodgers and looked disjointed. I'm sick of hearing the excuses from you and others. We may turn it round but if you haven't noticed right now we're in the sh*t and no amount of posing by the likes of you can cover it up.
.............................................................................................
mook (n.) A term used to refer to an adolescent to twentysomething male who shows off and makes a scene of himself. A mook personifies the adoption of trends for the sake of commercialism and the mindless celebration of childish masculinity.HTH

FiNeRaIn Top post AP, top post. Agree with the majority on it - but feel you are slightly harsh on church. He's scored goals for wales u-21 and played well for the first team, he's got potential but would fit better as a second striker who could be rotated.

FWIW's, from my comfy seat in the pub I thought it was the best we played all season with more positives than negjatives. Church played excellently aside from scoring, his movement was first class and him & Rasiak seemed the best pairing we had all season. Rasiak himself was a nuscience 1st half and was wrongly called offside on his 1 on 1 with the keeper. Matejovsky delievered the kind of performance he was capable off just something we haven't seen often enough. McAnuff & Howard were good. My only worry is Pearce. The guy hasn't improved 1 bit a year on after breaking into the team, he has no pace and looks woefully 1 footed. He maybe a good leader but my 4th choice center half.
Dissapointing result, but I'm probably more confident than I was pre game. Of course it will count for nothing come Saturday 3pm when you never know which side will turn out at Coventry.

1871royals Im quite surprised by all the praise Marek is getting.
He played some awesome passes but some equally shocking ones.
I think someone posted on here couple of days ago that Marek has scored twice and 0 assists in his Reading career.
Both goals were consolations, so that means hes contributed no end product at all.
Its quite funny that Kebe has scored the same and set up lots in the same period but hes considered poor. They are both flair players but Marek cant deliver an end product.
