I guess not, unfortunately it doesn't stop the arrogant nature of the 'we should be beating Scunthorpe's of the league with ease' comments though.

No but on the day we should have beaten them comfortably - I do not blame Rodgers - it was the players who let us down on the day and the fact that he had no reserve striker on the bench to push us over the line (not sure who's fault that was? - may not have been Rodger's fault?)

As a BR supporter though I have said on other threads I thought he came across appallingly in the interview - could have been the last nail in his coffin?

I agree on the last point, and that it was the players who let him down by not securing all 3 points in a game we should've won on the day.

I think the interview may just have provoked the thought at board level that Rodgers wasn't quite the right character for RFC afterall.

My point was though, that all this talk of 'it was a worse performance than against Palace because of the opposition' is a load rubbish.

I have never minded Dellor really but BR came over as an arrogant Tw@t i'm not really sure Dellor expected much involvement mate?
