JR My only beef with the Reading ticket office is that they did not say from the start that tickets would be available on the door. I bought my tickets before this was announced and if I had known would not have paid in advance.

Because they wouldn't have known if tickets would be available on the door.

How would you have felt if they had told you that you would be able to buy on the night, and then we sold the full allocation?

JR
Barry the bird boggler
Kareem Abdul-Jabar I assume there has never been a game called off because the away fans couldn't get to the game? I'm snowed in and it doesn't look like I can get the car out without a snow-plough. That's £24 down the drain! I wonder if many RFC fans can get out of Berkshire at the moment. Also I assume the team left yesterday?

That's my predicament, can we not get a refund...?

I have decided to can it due to the snow. Not sensible driving all the way up and back down late at night in my opinion.

Spoken to club re refund and they have said it is not their decision re refunds (as they have sent all ticket paperwork and reconciliations back to Liverpool) and told me to contact Liverpool ticket office on 0870 220 2345 instead.

My only beef with the Reading ticket office is that they did not say from the start that tickets would be available on the door. I bought my tickets before this was announced and if I had known would not have paid in advance.

Update - Do not phone Liverpool ticket office. I have just spoken to them and they have said they are in discussions with Reading ticket office and are in the process of agreeing a deciding upon the approach to Reading fans that are unable to get to the game. Reading fans will therefore need to make any refund claims through the Reading ticket office, but don't call before mid afternoon as they have not yet agreed the process.

Fair point - will just mention it if getting a refund is awkward.

Slinky just been past Anfield and footways mostly clear and workers out clearing them now what's left.

Thanks for the update. How close do you live to Anfield?

I don't, I live over the water (Wirral) but drove past earlier for work reasons.

How many are we expecting? I have blagged a space in a box and have already apologised in advance for our empty spaces.....

Not looking forward to putting up with smug scousers if they win, but reserve the right to give it large to them if we pull off the unthinkable.

BTW I am in Chester and if the game was here it would be off. I really hope they don't can it at some daft time cos it is still snowing quite steadily here.....

Tony Le Mesmer The line of snow for today more or less runs in a line from Reading to Liverpool.

Just arrived from North Wales. Ticketless, but I've been told will be OK. No problems with weather, except it's grey, cold and damp. 'Tis still grim up North.

To be fair, the amount of the stuff in Toxteth right now could probably form a line from Liverpool to Reading!
