John Peel a lot of supporters think we're a Premiership club/ Premiership club in waiting.
not sure where the word "lot" figures here
A lot had sensibly accepted the fact that we are not (premiership) a long time before the season had even started

Franchise FCT.R.O.L.I. You might not expect it, but quite often it happens. Look at our two losses in 05/06 - Plymouth (H) who finished 50 points behind us in 14th and Luton (A) who finshed 45 points behind us in 10th.
This season, Plymouth (currently 23rd) won away at Cardiff (currently 5th) and Scunthorpe (currently 20th) beat Newcastle (currently 1st).
Whoever we'd lost to that season would have been 50 points behind us - THEY ALL WERE !!

I didn't realise we won the league by 50 points - though it was more like 15.

Compo's Hat By the time we play next in the league we could well be in the bottom three. Sheffield Wednesday play twice including a massive game at home to Peterborough while Plymouth host Barnsley on Saturday.

Scarface Last season when it all fell apart it was inevitable we'd blow promotion even though the agony was extended to the play-off. This season feels similar in that sense, so just accept we're relegated and you'll feel a lot less angry come the last day of the season when we go down on goal difference again.
Lets face it, this season has been an utter shambles on and off the pitch, so we deserve to go down

Smoking Kills Dancing Doe We're in so much trouble if we dont get in 3 - 4 players.
Doesn't matter who the manager is.

Ian Royal Even if we decided to get a new manager now. It would take an absolute minimum of 2 weeks to get one in post. More likely 4-6 weeks. We're better off sticking with BMcD. Three managers in a season is too many.
We're likely to dip into the bottom 3 at some point in the next few months. I'd rather do it in the next couple of weeks than in a months time. It's where we are at the end of the season that counts we are good enough to string a few results together with the right team and tactics.

Really think that with Thor and Griffin we have enough now. We just need some consistency.
