Handbags Harris Sheff Utd 1-0 Reading. Poor defending too easy. Good take to be fair. Jonathan fortune.

2003 - Sheffield United took an early lead, Michael Brown IIRC. We won 3-1 and were brilliant.

Clutching at straws I know.

Jesus. We can't even get through the first 15 minutes without conceding. Only one way teams who do that go......

Lol

Who would travel to Sheffield to watch the shower of shit we have to watch??
It's hard enough travelling to Reading from Basingstoke.

Excuses, excuses. I bet thats the lowest away following for a team in our division. Other clubs fans make long distance journeys consistently so why is this excuse used?

Back to the game though and its business as usual with us behind.

1 clean sheet in the last 20 league games now. Anyone still think we're good enough defensively :| ?

How is that an "excuse"? People think the team are shit and don't want to watch them. I call that an "explanation", myself.

When the feck did ANYONE think we were good enough defensively.

We're weaker in pretty much every defensive position. Including keeper and argueably midfield.

I want to be positive, but the "don't let them come out of the blocks and build up a head of steam" conversation is clearly not quite hitting home before the game. Annoyed by the world beating in the cup being countered by the sh1te in the league.

I've been puzzled with some of the recent comments on our defence. We still appear to have huge lapses of concentration.

On the bright side - I'd reather be 1-0 down 12 minutes in than with 12 to go. At least we have a decent amount of time to pull back the deficit.

Let's not panic eh? Plenty of time to go. Just becasue we're a goal down in one game doesn't get us relegated.

Anything positive tonight is a bonus, it all starts against Barnsley.

Anyway, we're not out of this game as yet.

What about the majority of games we already played this season when we went 1-0 down? Bet you said the same then.

But that's good because we'll play better in the second half and still lose! What an improvement on Rodgers!
