The highlights were insultingly short, but they were still legend. Three stunning goals from Reading, a quite ludicrous clanger from Fed, and the sight of WB stewards closing ranks on our players like they were protecting Silvio Berlusconi at an earth summit riot. Altogether, one of the most extraordinary sequences of footage in our club's history.

trueroyal1871 oxf*rd ITV said we're a 4pm kick off but the FA.com says we're a 1.45pm. Anyone know the right kick off?

You'd think ITV would know.

So WBA do their best to soil our celebrations and ITV are uttercnuts who barely scrapped 3mins together.

Still lulz at the fourth estate and the brummie neanderthals...Reading march on 8)

The Guardian seems to think we're on 1.45 too. TBH Chelsea at home is more likely to have been ITV's teatime choice, rather than a West Midlands derby. Oh.

Four minutes of coverage, barely two of that actual football. No Di Matteo reaction and only Brian's thoughts on the West Brom stewards, not the game. Brilliant stuff.

Cheers Seahawk. Brilliant goal by the Sig. Great support play by Church on the first and third goals and Kebe did well to set up Howard for the equaliser. URRZZZ!!!

While I obviously don't expect wall to wall highlights of Reading given their current league placing and the fact we were playing Championship opposition, I do expect the clubs competing in the competition at this stage to be treated with some sort of respect.

Instead we got the same blink and you'll miss it sod awful treatment we got in the first game sandwiched between two advertising breaks that both got longer air time than the WBA v Reading game and full highlights for all other games plus the usual fawning over the Premiership...

I agree, lets have a stong present in all stands v Villa of placards and banners saying the FA Cup should be on the BBC....

Just watching the blink and you'll miss it goals.

Is that Howard who gave the ball away for the first?

What on earth was WBA's Meite (spelling) doing for the 1st and 3rd? Shocking play, but great for us. The 2nd and 3rd goals are really, really well worked.

He is our matey of course! ;-)

My question, who is jumping out of the way for Howard's leveller? The Sig?

TV that's paid by advertising is always going to be this way
If RFC were on any longer , they risk viewers pissing off and NOT watching the adverts !!!
That's also why they save spurs until after , because if RFC were on last then everyone would switch off before the end of the program....
I'm not saying it'scorrect or fair, but that's THEIR thinking , right or wrong , that's the way it is ,with SHYTE TV
