Looks like the Burnley blogger is on the money with his Danny Ings assessment. There must be something in the water round those parts, I mean, what is it with Burnley and quality forwards recently?

Charlie Austin, Jay Rodriguez, Chris Eagles and now they seem to have found another one with Danny Ings.

In my opinion, The Tilehurst End is the best RFC related blog going.
Keep up the good work Wimb!

Aye :( the only downside of being part of a predominantly US based network

Interesting that your ratings seem quite different to a lot of those on BFTG.

Pretty harsh player ratings for Gunter, Guthrie and Pearce. I find it hard to see how Guthrie was no better than Cummings or McCleary.

I just didn't think Guthrie did a great deal to be honest. I think if I was giving .5 ratings he'd have probably been above Cummings and McCleary but as I'm not I didn't think he stood out really.

Gunter just still looks a bit short of confidence and I do wonder whether Kelly might be a better option right now. I don't think he had a horror show but again don't see what he's bringing to the side right now.

I don't think I've seen an awful lot of consistency across the BFTG ratings, but that's the beauty of player ratings, we all see it differently. I think the only players I seem to be down on compared with most is the centre midfield pairing but when we created so so little through the middle and on the deck generally I think you've got to ask a few questions.
