#readingfc - See thread. To close the issue once and for all and to get things moving even more for Reading fans, on Monday I will ask my lawyers from Level Law and colleagues from Daniel Lowen to hand over our in-depth due diligence and potential criminal misconduct in the British jurisdiction on the part of Dai Yongge in the sale process of Reading Football Club to the Met Police. On December 4, 2024, I tried to contact @RCouhig
to start an initiative together, but since he did not respond, I will fulfill my responsibility alone. In this way, I will initiate the necessary investigations and finally end the issue for myself.
Many Reading fans are welcome to see on my X profile that I have always warned about various posts from the then X Space. The accusation that I have always been cryptic is subject to the fact that I had to protect sources, especially in mainland China and beyond. Documents could be specifically assigned if I made them public (banks, party CCP internal documents). These have been verified several times by China experts and Mandarin translators independently of each other.
How did we get this information? I recommend a post about my father and where he worked and who still works for me. China is actually a black box, but there are always ways and means, especially where I was still interested in taking over at the time. Of course, I am no longer that today and I operate purely from the idea of ending the suffering of others and also protecting the dignity of English football, which I learned to appreciate as a child. Great Britain has always stood for something.
Unfortunately, over the last 30 years, various areas of society have been sold off. From football clubs that are deeply rooted in the community and culture to entire properties in the city centers of British cities. My family and my grandfather, like many "rich" people, were lured to London in the late 90s with private schools, great properties and much more. This is how the first sell-off of Great Britain took place. Today, many people wonder where all the Russians, Chinese, Saudis and Germans come from. I know the London bubble all too well and it has nothing to do with the rest of the country. I say this as a German and applaud the efforts of the MPs. Take your country back to a certain extent. Set cornerstones and rules that we as foreign investors have to follow. All the best and I hope you get a good owner who upholds these values and my duty will be done.

Ascotexgunner When I saw Royals infiltrated by Chinese spy on the news I got my hopes up the government would seize and flog us like they did with Chelsea.
Bitterly disappointed to find out it was Prince Andrew f*cking up again.

WestYorksRoyal Find it hard to believe this is a deal breaker. Indemnities and warranties are par for the course in M&A deals, so if Dai was serious about selling it would be easy enough to add a clause that the buyer is protected against the outcome of the case. Plus, the legal claim is against Dai's holding company and not the club.
Dellor is being fed dishonest information and isn't being skeptical enough with his sources.

Carnabyswhiskers Who in their right mind would be prepared to do business with Dai as more and more of this detail emerges? On the other hand, none of the foregoing (and certainly not the 'right mind' descriptor) excludes the possibility that an interested party could be one Andrew Windsor. Suppose he needs something to fill the time.

I think we kind of agree. The problem is Dai and his lack of commitment to overcome obstacles to a sale when solutions are available, but a club source tells Dellor that it's Couhig's fault and he happily spreads the narrative.

Either that, or Dia was ordered by the Chinese government to lavish money on the royals to win influence, and just badly misunderstood.

West Stand Man
What if the mystery Chinese business man/spy is our Mr Dai? His flat is next door to Buck House, he hasn't been seen in this country for quite some time .....
