Reading Fandango He came across as very humble on At Home with the Russians. I think he's a better person than you people give him credit for.

I'm going to shamefully admit I saw a bit of this and agree with you! His 2 seconds on screen, riding in a boat on his way to the Cannes festival with his beautiful fashion designer wife really showed him to be a down to earth guy that the common man can relate to.

Anyone read the Pogs latest comments? Seems much of the same about how he didnt want to drop a league and that but I always like to read about players who underestimated the Championship saying how tough a league it can be. I read from here..

Football is 90 per cent what you do in training and only 10 per cent playing

testament to Pogrebnyaks ability that this thread has turned into a rose-tinted recollection of Llyod Owusu's finest moments?

Or the stupidity of some of you pansy-puffs?

I would have thought the latter quote was pretty much spot on and one that many professionals in the game would agree with. If not, why do professional clubs throughout the world 'waste' so much time training?

I reckon Mo Farah would say the same about his sport too, as would David Weir (always thought it was a strange transition from gold medallist to football manager!).

Uncle Albert I think he's a waste of space. Slow, lazy, cant keep the back, gets tackled all the time, can't shoot. People say that he would have been better with better service but ALFie didnt have a problem did he?

What do you guys think?

I think you're wrong, incredibly wrong.

Royalee Hmm...he's won the UEFA Cup, was top scorer in that competition, UEFA Supercup, National League title, has 33 caps for his country and 8 goals and yet he's rubbish because he couldn't score goals in a team playing utterly repulsive football under a complete chump of a coach last season? God love some of our fans, they know so much about football...

I thank you.

Time to start worrying about whether we will be able to keep hold of him during the January transfer window.

Only one more goal in a game against a poor League One side effectively.

Tell me after he's got 15 for the season including a brace against old saggys hoops

2 against Derby and one against Doncaster.

It's hardly impressive... Give me 2 against Burnley, 2 against QPR and 3 against Leicester and I might change my mind.

It's just as likely that his next goal will come at home to Yeovil or Bournemouth

Cracking goal and a far more positive all round performance from him. He could be a real handful if he continues playing like that...! Great afternoon of football out there today :D
