Snowflake Royal It's nothing to do with face. It's about power, control, gambling and winning.
He has to get a deal on his terms, or he loses. And he won't tolerate that. Everything else is sunk cost, so he'd rather we fold than he 'loses' in a deal.

Quite.
This is what people mean when they say its about him 'losing face'.

Maybe, but a lot of people seem to think it means looking bad publicly or getting bad publicity, which he clearly couldn't give two shits about, or he'd have slunk off quietly years ago.

RoyalBlue Daniel Loitz is now saying that holding onto 25% of the club has always been 'Dai's wet dream'. That might explain why all those interested parties are falling by the wayside.

RoyalBlueRoyal_jimmyHound Well Smiths impending departure pays the wages for the next few months
Wrexham probably won't pay that cash up front. Imagine it'll be in installments with add ons which we'll receive over a 3 year period. The initial fee will probably cover a months pay max
Honestly this is the lowest I've ever felt as a fan of this club. It really does take it's toll on your mental health. Part of me wants protests to escalate to show how angry we are but it probably won't do any good if not make things even worse.
Me too. I'd love to see really angry and potentially disruptive protests but that probably would ensure our relegation. However, if the time should come when that outcome looks very likely anyway.......

Mid Sussex Royal As expected, this month's update from the club will confirm no one in exclusivity but "several interested parties".
Leaked out by Howe....that's from Caroline Parker on SBWD

Hound Honestly do we have any real idea what’s going on with him?
Just makes no sense to me, can certainly speculate but none of it makes sense really

He has been found guilty of committing fraud. Won't be leaving China anytime soon. Outside the affairs of Reading FC. There's most likely a complex investigation underway. To unravel where the money actually went and how much can be recouped for the various creditors.

Someone in the press (Dellor?) said he was in the country last month.

It was Dellor, based on updates he'd had from the club. Can't be 100% sure of anything, but presumably he does have good contacts who would be unlikely to lie. Also said he was actively involved in blocking any sale.
