Can't see a 'BFTG thread', suffice to say that I would like to wish all players and management involved in last night's travesty an awful Christmas and a Happy New Year spent at a different club. Worst performance since Plymouth away nearly 3 years ago. Most damningly we probably haven't even got a better starting XI now than we did back then.

Reading: Federici, Ingimarsson, Bertrand, Pearce, McAnuff, Cisse, Matejovsky (Kebe, 46), Sigurdsson, Gunnarsson, Long (Rasiak, 60), Church Subs not used: Mills, Howard, Hamer, Karacan, Robson-Kanu.

That is depressing. 3 years on and the squad is very much the same quality as it was then.

The surprise isn't really that we are doing badly. It's how the hell we managed to win the title last season.

That squad had Bertrand, Sigurdsson, Long. This squad has Alf, Tabb and Cummins. I think we had a better starting 11 then

Sydenham I agree....

Wow that is quite telling seeing that squad from 3 years ago.

Yeah, I would go so far as to say that starting eleven is better (at least if you were to play it now)

Exactly - 3 years ago those players were no way near as good as they are now....

I'm sure, it's just quite funny that a team we had 3 years ago who were battling relegation to League One would now be preferable to a team battling relegation to the Championship.
