Really good goal. Doesn't matter who the opposition were, the more he scores the more his confidence grows and the more positive contributions he can give in bigger games.

An all-round superb performance validated by a great goal. Not sure how anyone can complain about Pog right now. Shame people place more importance on saving face in arguments online than giving an honest assessment of a player.

Well said. People say they'd love to be proved wrong, but that is rarely actually the case.

I took a friend to her first Reading game on Saturday and she seems to think Pogrebnyak is a total hero.

It's such a boring pattern on here.

- Player has a good game / poor game
- Fan A gives his opinion
- Fan B who doesn't like Fan A, gives a contrary opinion.
- Fan A's opinion turns from rational to extreme
- Fan B's opinion counters this by becoming equally extreme

- Player's form changes
- Fan A laughs in Fan B's face
- Fan B pretends form hasn't changed at all

It will always become:

"He is the best player in the universe who can do no wrong" Vs "He is the worst player in the universe who can do no right"

Both fans are dickheads.

I'm happy that Pog is proving my original view right and my briefly held recent view wrong.

With form being variable, I'm confident he will prove many wrong and many right again, before proving them right and wrong once more, somewhere down the line.

People who are currently being proved wrong: have patience, your time will come.
