One other point about Saturday is that Leeds only played with one up so the job was easier for the two centre-backs compared to facing Holt and Martin of Norwich or Boothroyd and Chopra for Cardiff by way of examples.
Also Becchio doesn't look a very physical player.
As other posters have said the Kish master class (plus Jimmy's cameo) was probably the highlight of a rather drab game.

Spotted Mills at the Megastore today.

He has a Audi R8 (I think) with the number plates Mil8sy (or something to that effect)

He was buying a matchday program from the Doncaster game. I was scared to say hi to him and ask for a picture. I should have, as It would have made my trip.

I traveled in from London to go on a tour of the stadium. I attempted to call ahead to check if a tour was proceeding but no one answered. Evidently there was no tour today. The lady behind reception was so lovely, and she took me to see the ground, and also the players entrance and change rooms. She was very lovely. I got my photo in the dugout and everything :)

Great trip out there from London today, I like Reading. People I encountered were nice also.

glad you had a good time Mike. You should have said Hi, it would have been useful for HNA to see if he was nice or a cock.

Do folks remember when Mills couldn't get a game under Rodgers
and it was rumoured that he had had some altercation with Pearce?

The day he got back into the side i met the pair of them arriving
at the ground (they appeared to be matey with one another)
and I asked Millsy if he was getting a start and he said yes.

Seemed like a nice-enough bloke. Maybe he's like one of those blokes
who are fine when they're sober. He will be a top CB one day

What are you trying to say exactly?
I know the reason why he couldn't get a game under Rodgers - but I was asked not to say anything - suffice to say it was nothing to do with any altercation with players.

I thought the reason had come out and that it's basically because he told Rodgers his brand of football was shit.

You should've done.

I've chatted to Mills a few times after matches, he seems to emerge at roughly two pints after the final whistle (mine not his).

I asked him how he managed not to get sent off against Forest (him and Vaughan were both carded early) and he explained how they knew each other and were enjoying a good old fashioned centre half/centre forward battle. Ref wasn't letting them play though.

Always a decent chap and happy to have a word with the kids.

Still a bit of a cock on the pitch though.

That he seems to lose it when he's had a couple of (football minutes)
but that off the pitch he seems a solid enough guy.
