Ah - I had assumed when he said he was selling, he meant all his shares. Suppose the 10% allows him to still stroke his ego when needed!

Even if he was selling all his shares, they could keep him on the board of directors if they wished.

More likely because the Thai's won't be around most of the time so the empty seats in the directors box don't look too conspicuous. SJM wanted shot of the whole thing and has said so for years. Bit bemused why you're trying to jump on the anti SJM bandwaggon at this late stage?

Clever leaving SJM with approx £2.9 m the new owners know there is someone else to assist if deals goes rotten after 4/5 years .

The most depressing and distressing thing for me about this whole takeover saga, is the amount time it has taken for this joke to be cracked. Seriously, as a club we should be embarrassed.

TSI wasn't quick. It was being discussed in the August before it being announced in the January, and then took a few more months to get approved. This however is extremely fast! Sheffield Wednesday fans aren't happy ours could be announced today while they still wait for theirs.
JIM any news are they still talking?
Unless he's already in the country the flight from Bangkok doesn't arrive until 5:57pm
