Forbury Lion
From Despair To Where? Maybe a moot point but I always thought it was Gourlay who sidelined Tevreden.
There's an interview with Tevreden on either the Elm Park Royals or 1871 podcast in which it's clear he left because of Gourlay and if he'd known Gourlay was going a short while later he probably wouldn't have left.

Think it was on the Tilehurst End. That was the interview I remembered when I said it wasn't Dai getting rid of Tevreden, and that Tevreden said Dai basically put him into Roeselare as he (Dai) valued him (Tevreden).

It was a really good interview. I think the future of this club would have been very different if Brian T had been given the reigns.

To clarify, I meant forced out on the basis he didn’t agree or get on with Gourlay - which is ultimately Dai's responsibility to resolve and down to him in supporting and appointing Gourlay.

I did forget appointing a new manager without sacking or discussing it with the existing manager.

Sorry if this is a bit of a digression, but I found it to be an interesting footnote.

SV Roeselare, the Phoenix club to KV, have won back-to-back promotions and are now doing well in the fourth tier of Belgian football.

If ever there was a club we should contact, support, visit, twin with and promote, it's them. I love a trip to Flanders myself for a few Tripels and a Carbonade.

windermereROYAL Seems like there`s still a certain Fulham player that can`t get over their play-off defeat nearly nine years on, our pitch is a disgrace and he`s happy with the mess we find ourselves in. his audience had a good laugh too.
But no mention of their pedo owner.
Take a bow Cairns you fucking loser.

??? shouldn’t that be Tom Cairney? Also is there a link for his “sadness”?

BBC REPORTS

Platek cleared by FL to take over
    Money is there
    Dai wants to sell
    Platek wants club
    FL want deal done
March 21 RFC v Couhig case to be heard - separate from other case.
Deal screwed until Couhig gets out of the picture, currently is blocking various aspects and making counter claims etc., March 21 case will hopefully clear it all up

Issue is the known problem of RC claiming loss of potential profits and legal expenses, really not sure how on earth that’d hold up in court but because of that he keeps applying injunctions and making blocking moves which the March 21 case should give a final rule on.

So all wait now for March 21…

Fits in with the timescales we've been hearing, but also sounds like it might even already be done if it wasn't for the Couhig issue.
Just bog off and leave us alone

Link?

Only because I find it interesting how exactly the court case has any impact on the deal. It’s not like there is even a remote possibility that the court is going to award Reading FC to Rob Couhig, so what difference does it make?

If there IS a holdup, surely its Dai’s choice not anyone else’s.

What is the other case? Dai's company?

I thought the club said this wouldn't hold anything up?

Yes it’s Tim’s story…

BBC SOUNDS > Radio Berkshire > 3pm Sport on BBC Berkshire - first story up

The basic issue is Couhig. He is blocking moves to be able to transfer the assets from Dai’s companies to Platek’s companies. As I understand it, it’s stalling measures while his claim for loss of potential profits and legal expenses goes through the courts.

Reading might be finished as a club if the court rules in Couhig’s favour.

Not got any insight into RC’s side of things of course but it seems Couhig and Dai squabbling like this could well be what drives the club to the wall.

My understanding is Couhig v Dai over his claim for £12m+ in loss of profits and legal expenses is due to be heard at some point in the future (CASE 1). In the meantime Reading have taken Couhig to court over his blocking and injunction moves to stop the sale of the club (CASE 2). CASE 2 is the one due to be heard on March 21.

So even if the Court finds in favour of the club Couhig will likely appeal. This guy is going to kill the club.

Dellor's not exactly reliable, so still firmly believe it when I see it.

I am sure Tim Dellor wouldn't have announced it on the radio if it is not true. Couhig will sue him/the BBC if it is all false. Can anyone find out the court cases due to be heard on the 21st. March?

Ian has hitched his wagon to Couhig being a benevolent saviour who can do very little wrong and isn't letting go.

Can't blame him for siding with Couhig over Dai, just think he's a bit naive to Couhig's intentions

I believe a judge can reject an appeal.
