Royal Lady Two tiers of fans now. Those who pay Ten quid a year to read some transcripts of meetings about the playing staff and coaching staff and those who won't pay ten pounds a year to hear something which should be in the public domain anyway.

Be fair, they do bring out that god awful embarrasment of a flag now and again, and parade themselves like a bunch of `tards !

Is that them? :?:

I thought it was local "Care In The Community" where the special people were allowed to do something useful for once?

No TV. The "special ones" you refer to hold car parking space demonstrations. HTH 8)

I don't know if this has already been mentioned on this thread, but the Hoffenheim manager has apparently been quoted as saying a 'new young player' will be unveiled on Tuesday.

As for Hoffenheim, they were hoping for a top 5 finish last season, but, like most smaller clubs vying for a place in Europe, found that last jump a bit too big. They have grown exponentially the last few years, like Germany's Hull City, not a small club by any means and a good challenge for Gylfi.

Basingstoke Royal I think Gylfi is selling himself short if he goes to this german side that no one has heard of.

Someone suggested that the bundesliga is the arguably the best in Europe or words to that effect, which is bollocks and this team are small fry with no big names.

Gylfi is good enough to be playing for a big team, and if he made a move to top 6 prem side then fair enough, but to take a gamble and sign for a mediocre side in Germany just doesn't make sense.

Turn it down gylfi and wait for the move you deserve.

I think it would be a great move for him - a team in a STABLE league, playing for a team that led the German league a year or so ago for months and are comfortably mid table. He'd get a chance at playing time - something he probably wouldnt in the prem with the 30 man squads that exist. He would also still get to play the likes of Bayern, Stuttgart, Hamburg, werder breman, schalke, etc all how are well known teams. Its exactly the right sort of step he should take to continue his development and thats why I think he's a gonner.

I think your post shows a distinct lack of knowledge about German or European football as a whole. As the germany national team proved again this world cup, you don't need " big names" to piss all over woeful, arrogant big name teams like England.

Reported as a done deal in the German paper (Das Bild):

Quelle: Bild

Says all the obvious stuff - but main point is that the deal will be publicised tomorrow and that he's signed a 4 year contract.

Don't agree at all. The Bundesliga is thriving at the moment with teams getting big attendance figures and not being weighed down with debt. Just because Hoffenheim don't have any star players it does not mean they are not a good side. They may just as much ambition as a lot of Premiership clubs.

Hoffenheim are a fantastic club, who are really going places. This is an incredible move for Sig and as much as it pains me to say we're not in a posistion to stand in his way.

If he goes there and does well he'll be off to a massive, massive club. Barca, Real, Man U, Inter, Bayern etc.

Where's the bit about the fallen Madonna with the big boobies? If that was in there it would have been quite brilliant!
