Just got here about 10 minutes ago. Thanks for the link...

Good first half, couldn't have asked for more. From what I saw we were the better squad on the pitch so far.

Better squad? You can only play your first team to start with until you make subs. Playing your entire squad would just be batty.

Ian Royal Don't think Long is actually that quick. He's hardly slow, or even average pace, but he doesn't actually win that many races for the ball.

Beckford still not turned up!

Long is VERY quick

Avon Royal LOL at the anti-Mills mugs.

Anyone who thinks that he doesn't read the guff on this board should note the way he tapped the captain's armband after he scored.........

Scoring a goal, having a good game, being a good player, doesn't necessarily make you a good captain. Look no further than QPR for that!!

They intended to start with Beckford. He didn't make it. We benefit. He may come on for second half.

Agreed. Perhaps Ian Royal is forgetting that in many races he starts a good number of yards behind his opponent and still wins a good number of them!

Well done Mills, you've been threatening to score another goal from set pieces for ages and never quite managing it. Having one of his better games. Scoring doesn't make him a good captain or a reliable defender though.

Our team was the better team on the pitch...so far. That is all I am sayin' even if I worded it clumsily. It was a big SO FAR.

Mills won't score. We never score from corners...

That's irony, OK?

I see the motivational negativity worked

Can't people at least let him have his moment for now? Also you will see this game will turn around his form exactly the same as Liverpool last year (and still think that will be the case even if he makes a awful error today).

Come on Reading - keep it tight. Just hope they don't get caught napping at the start of the 2nd half...

Everton are looking to come out here and make us pay for missed opportunities in the second half. Just had a word with a contact whose confirmed this. Worrying times ahead.

Don't see why a defender scoring one goal should change the opinion I've formed over a season and a half. Fair play though, he is playing well today and he took his goal.

I expect to see Everton come out much more determined.

Beckford is coming on... :|
