Saturday sees the return of our jinx team in Portsmouth. No wins from any home game against them since 6th January 1982

1997/98 - Lost 0-1
2002/03 - Drew 0-0
2006/07 - Drew 0-0
2007/08 - Lost 0-2

So that's a nice tidy run of 9 games, no wins, 5 draws and 4 defeats, scoring a massive 3 goals (or averaging 0.33 goals a game).

In fact we haven't scored at home against them in our last 6 attempts or since the days of Kevin Bremner and Gary Peters (they who scored the last home goals against them)

So, as records are made to be broken, I think its about time we well and truly put this one out of its misery.

What was your favourite defeat at the hands of Portsmouth

I can only remember a few games, mostly away- a draw, I think, where a goal kick was caught in the wind and started heading back towards our keeper, hammered 3-0 when they went up, Shorey looking about as rapid as rabid ...
