Maguire
muddyfeet will be more nervous than excited tomorrow - you can just never be sure which Reading team will turn up

I'm hoping for Whitley Tavern or Unity.

Massively so. In a much better way than the Burnley and Wolves game. Feels like Wigan back in div 2

We had some gr8 games against Unity over the years. My favourite one being when we sneaked a last minute win against them and two of their players had a full on fight after the final whistle, rolling around on the floor. We just looked on bemused whilst LOLing and the African tribesman who used to manage them had to break it up.

Nervous excitement is building for Friday night. Can see myself drinking far too quickly before the game and acting like a dick though.

I know what you mean about pre-drinks as well. Can see myself attacking the cider with a rare fervour then shouting absolute slavering shit all game to the disgust of everyone around me.

Lolz - I'm in the South Stand too, which will only add to the disgust of those around Spick and I, as we c-bomb a record number of times within 90 minutes.

Alternating between massive excitement and massive nerves.
I've got a tiny little bit of nagging hope that we might be able to win the semi...

See you there gr8 m8. It's a morgue that side so we could offend pretty much everyone in one fell swoop.

Reading's No.1 fan sits in front of us. He must be ten by now. The first time he shouted about the ref being 'shit' his mum and dad just laughed, embarrassed. Now he gets a clip round the ear for calling the away fans w@nkers.

Not that bothered tbh. Having watched a handful of games on tv or at the mad stad I have found the progression more of a passing interest than obsession. Of course, I would like to see Reading win and get through to the final. And if that happens I won't go to that game either. I have had my fill of emotional obsession over the years and more than happy for those who still have that feeling to go and enjoy / endure. And IF Reading win the play offs I won't be going next season either. I am very comfortable with this and can safely say that this particular umbilical cord has been well and truly severed. So excited? I don't think so. Enjoy the ride folks :)
