bloody Volvo driver Not quite sure what game S&C was at, but Fed was fully / partially at fault for both goals. As for the saves that the BBCRB crowd were banging on about, the first one just hit him (why the Millwall striker just didn't dink it over his head I do not know) and the second was a good but routine save.

Totally and utterly over rated

So the one on one just hit Federici whilst he ran out of the way of it I suppose.
That could have been 3-0 and curtains.

The reality being the fact he saved it and we went on to get a draw. Fancy that!!!

He did make some good saves today, but he should have done better on the two we conceded. This isn't me having a go at him, its just how I saw it.

I think it's just that he's too fat. It affects the speed at which he can move too much and inhibits everything he should be doing.

I can stand in the way of a shot that the opposition forward hits STRAIGHT at me, doesn't make me a good keeper either

I always thought a Keeper was supposed to let the Ball hit him. It's pretty much the whole point of his job.

Just the 2 goals Federici was at fault for today

Hope he starts at Charlton so I can verbally intimidate him

Royal Lady I thought it was very unfair of the stewards to throw out Big Foot's m8, who I presume was merely booing Feds....

Sounds about right

Do you have the fitness data to back this statement up?

You know nothing about goalkeeping, evidently.

It looked like he was parry the ball away but never got strong contact on it. Still his fault though!

I must profess, my knowlegde of keeping is somewhat limited as I played full back.

However I do recognise a keeper who, instead of coming out and dealing with a long loopy cross, simply skips across his line and flaps his hands in the air or a keeper who instead of collecting a high cross or at least punches it out, simply flaps at it. 2 errors costing 2 goals.

A poor day at the office for our Mr Fedrici.

That cross was perfectly executed by Henry it was Pearce's fault that Henderson got free and you can tell that by the highlights because he looks around wondering where Henderson came from. once the defender loses his man all the Keeper can do is make himself big.

He did well to get anything on the cross for the second which wouldn't have come in if it weren't for the supreme slowness of the left side of defence. If he hadn't got anything on it you'd have been complaining about that.

Keep telling yourself that Federici dealing with it badly is excused by Pearce (or Harte as Hoop suggests elsewhere) also being at fault.

I wouldn't have been complaining if he got nothing on the second, because it wouldn't have been a goal.

And you can keep blaming Federici and Federici only forever but it won't change the fact that that goal was at least partly the fault of the defender you spent most of last season claiming should have been in the team ahead of Mills.

I realise it's pointless arguing with you Ian. You have your little favourites and if they do something wrong you don't want to criticise them because it might show you up.

Maybe Federici could have done something differently, maybe he'd have dropped the ball to Henderson's feet, maybe McCarthy would've saved it, maybe he'd have done the same thing as Federici, maybe he'd have been beaten for the one on one. We just don't know. Why did Henderson have a free header with no defender near him?

Feds was definately at fault for the 2nd and should have gone to claim for the 1st goal, anyone who actually went to the game would know that!

I was at the game. Why did he have a free header? Where was his Marker? Anyone that isn't blinkered and recognises that both McCarthy and Federici are two of the best in this division knows that Alex Pearce was at least partly responsible for that goal.

No one says he isn't. They are saying that Federici was as well, which you are denying thereby making youself look like you don't know what you'er talking about.
