Yes Tabb was in the game more earlier on but everything seemed to bounce off him rather than him control it - at least he was there to break things up though.

Leigertwood is getter better game on game but gives the impression that he's not fully fit as he starts games slowly and then comes into them more and more. However with the current rate of improvement he'll probably be back to last season's standard around Christmas

On a different note - Saturday showed once again just how stupid the Football League/FA/UEFA/whoever have been in banning multi-ball. It completely slows the game down - there was one point that the ball went high in to the unoccupied half of the South stand and it took a good minute for the ball boys to arse about deciding amongst themselves who was going to get it and then go and retrieve it. That's a whole minute of top quality football (or at least another Boro shot on goal) that we've been deprived of because of this stupid rule.

I thought part of multi-ball was that they had to be consistent throughout the game and to both teams and if they did abuse it they would get punished - probably a fine which would explain why the chairmen voted to out it.
