Snowball Donny (A) W 2-1 (worried about this one) POSTPONED
Coventry (H) W 2-0 Won 2-0
Derby (A) D 1-1 (altho' it's a place we might nick a win) WIN 1-0
Burnley (H) D 1-1 (Obviously a win very useful but we could even lose this) WIN 1-0
M'bro (A) D 1-1
Millwall (A) W 2-0

Don't care how we get the 12 points from 6 games, as long as we get them\

W3 D3 would be brilliant. Don't really care which wins, which draws.

Possibly optimistic, but then we have JR now.

9 points from 3, so going well even if I was pessimistic!

Side note: We've taken 50 points from our last 25.

ABSOLUTELY!! Shall I predict 1-1 for the next 15 games?

PS I think my comments were pretty close, but was trying to rein in optimism

Hi Ian - the thread was getting a bit boring so I thought I would liven it up for you.

Darn that Donny postponement messing things up.

No one did particularly well, but kudos to Slammed, chilipepper91, royaljames101 and me 8) for the best predictions of results.

Next up:

Pompey (H) - 2-1 Loss
Leicester (H) - 1-0 Win
Doncaster (A) - 3-1 Win
Barnsley (A) - 1-1 Draw
Peterborough (A) - 2-0 Win
Blackpool (H) - 2-2 Draw

11 points would be fine... although obviously I'd prefer 15 (hoping Pompey gets expunged whatever the result)

andrew1957 Pompey (H) Win
Leicester (H) Win
Doncaster (A) Win
Barnsley (A) Lose
Two games to add after your premature predictions

Pompey (H) - 4-0 win
Leicester (H) - 2-1 win
Doncaster (A) - 2-0 win
Barnsley (A) - 2-0 win
Peterborough (A) - 1-1 draw
Blackpool (H) - 3-2 win

I can't see us losing any of these at the mo. I'm hoping the first half of Millwall will be our Sheff Utd of last season, that we can't just walk into games expecting to win. As others have said, we need to notch the results early to put less pressure on our difficult April.

If I look at any one result I fancy a win

So

5-0 Pompey (H)
1-0 Leicester (H)
2-0 Doncaster (A)
1-0 Barnsley (A)
1-0 Peterborough (A)
3-2 Blackpool (H)

But I don't believe for a second we will win all six. Could see a 1-1 home to Leicester maybe
and possibly only drawing at Barnsley and or Peterboro, but those six results are my predictions.

I think these six are massive games. If we could squeeze out 16 or 18 points we'll be in the top two
and have bags of confidence for the upcoming big-big games.

And let's not forget it might come down to goal difference for top or second. Our Goal AVERAGE is good
these last 15 games but because we have generally lower-scoring games, it's hard to get the GD up a lot.

be nice to improve the GD v Pompey and Donny

My predictions:

1-1 Portsmouth Draw
1-2 Leicester Lose
1-2 Doncaster Win
0-2 Barnsley Win
1-1 Peterborough Draw
1-0 Blackpool Win

11 points.

1-1 D Leicester (H)
2-0 W Doncaster (A)

13 pts

Not sure goal average will be of much help since it was scrapped in about 1972

Doncaster (A) - 3-1 Win
Barnsley (A) - 3-0 Win
Peterborough (A) - 2-2 Draw

16 points, which would be unbelievable and IMO would see us up

Some tough games there. I'm not sticking my neck out on individual results, but I'd say 18 points from that lot.
