Danny Pugh is a dirty pcunt - should have had a red for his foul on Karacan and another for his foul on McAnuff that he was only booked for

Is that the Michael Brown that refused to join us in 2007/08?

Nope.

Embarrasing fail actually.

It was SCOTT Brown who decided, for some unknown reason, to choose to join Celtic over us at the beginning of that season, stating why would he choose a relegation battle rather than European football.

Of course. I don't know if I should be embarrassed but I'm not (well pehaps about 5%).

10539.4 Miles Away

What would be great to see is a couple more photos following - Brown twists his hip with Jem's leg trapped and I have no doubt it is intentional.

If you have the game recorded on Sky+ (or whatever) take a look, he slides, gets the ball, collects Jem's leg and then twists his hips in a separate movement that is not due to the momentum of the tackle. I wish there was a way to prove it was intentional as I am certain he'd get a significant ban.

The thing that winds me up the most about this is Brown's not even looking at the ball. Someone needs to kneecap him, horrible bastard.

Brown seems to be a thoroughly unpleasant individual.
Thankfully he is 35 so we might not see too much more of him.

Brown has a reputation as a midfield hard man due to his number of red and yellow cards as well as his tough tackling style

Brown was heavily featured in the Battle of Bramall Lane, a game where several Sheffield United players were sent off. He left the field, apparently injured, in a move that raised suspicions of a deliberate attempt to get the match abandoned. This duly occurred when a second Sheffield United player left the pitch injured. However, he subsequently missed the following two games with the same injury. Brown has also been sent off for three different clubs in the Premier League. Brown has also been involved in media controversy for some of his tackling, most notably tackles on Ryan Giggs, Ashley Cole and Sean Davis.

In Leeds' 4–1 defeat against Barnsley on 31 December, Brown injured Barnsley captain Jacob Butterfield with a tackle. The tackle injured Butterfield ruling him out for the season with a cruciate knee ligament injury. Butterfield claimed after the game he felt that the challenge from Brown was 'malicious' and 'intentional' and he revealed that Brown rang him after the game to apologise.Barnsley manager Keith Hill was also critical of Brown's challenge on Butterfield after the game.

During Leeds' FA Cup game against Arsenal at the Emirates, during the warm up Brown kicked a ball into the face of pundit Martin Keown who was doing punditry pitch-side with Robbie Savage for ESPN's coverage of the game.

In Leeds 2-0 defeat against Reading on 7 April, Brown incensed the Reading players when his sliding tackle on Jem Karacan led to Karacan breaking his ankle. Reading captain Jobi McAnuff heavily criticised the challenge after the game.

It is no coincidence that so many players get injured when being "tackled" by him; I seem to recall that he took Sidwell out of the game when we played away at Fulham in our 1st Prem season.

Just a thuggish dinosaur who, should HE suffer a life-threatening collapse on the pitch, wouldn't be getting many "#pray4michael" tweets......
