We were relegated as soon as the transfer window slammed shut. Awful summer for us, transfer-wise. The 3 teams above us all winning today - and keeping clean sheets - goes to highlight the qualities they have to be able to win games. Only the deluded would back us now. If McD gets us out of this one he's better than Jesus.

5 points gap from safety already. If this form continues we'll be relegated with 6 games to spare.

Dragging Stoke and Sunderland into trouble, and we have three games against them.

Lose tomorrow and it WILL look horrible, but that hasn't happened yet.

And that is the real tragedy of that Arsenal game. It went from something that would have probably given us a lot of confidence and kick started our season to something where many of our starters had to play 120 minutes and endure a confidence shattering, soul crushing loss at the absolute wrong time.

Have to agree about Sunderland, looks to me if Fletcher don`t score they don`t score, he is the top scorer with 5 goals, the second highest scorer is OG.
This season has plenty of twists and turns yet, don`t lose the faith people.

Agree totally about the Transfer window but do not believe that the players brought in were a problem. We need a minimum of three first-choice players to replace the players who will rarely get a game - need a couple of U21 stars AND, with the experience of the Prem. that Brian has acquired, we need a fluidity in tactics and a Plan B.

And are you planning to whore yourself out to pay for all this?

TheSiege No, I'm going to use your IQ to pay for £3.00

Wasn't aware of this to be possible. How does one sell their IQ?

Barring a huge cash injection in January, there will be no twists, no turns, just a straight line back into the championship.

dont panic yet, whilst we havent won, we have been close many times and in the prem spurs and swansea aside I wouldnt say we have been outplayed massively. id be worried if i was a southampton supporter though. sunderland cant buy a goal and stoke havent done too well either. norwich looked in trouble but they are doing ok now, just typical

If that happens, we'll miss all the tears on TV.
