Mid Sussex Royal Anyone thinking of going - don't. The ground is right on the outskirts of the town and the 2 railway stations Crawley and Three Bridges are both at least 2 miles away - they have also cut back on street parking near the ground on match days and there's no pubs I can think of within a mile.

That sounds a lot like the Madejski to me!

Two route one sides on a mud heap - will be fun.

The station is 1 mile, 20 minute walk away! No need for useless information.

The ground is about a mile from Crawley station, maybe a couple from Three Bridges. Both are well served by buses direct to the ground, or a short taxi ride.

There are parking restrictions on the A23 outside the ground but there is on street parking nearby. You can also use a couple of office/industrial areas nearby which are both within a five minute walk.

There are pubs within a mile, The Half Moon is only a few hundred yards from the ground. The Downsman is another, probably about 1/2 mile away. These are just a couple.

Redz at the stadium usually allows away fans in, plus there is a bar in the ground inside the away entrance.

I am guessing they won`t be displeased by this, they will feel we are one PL side they are capable of beating.

Super_horns How many tickets did you get for Man City away the other year?

Our ticket office fucked up and only took 2800 when we could have had 5-6000 odd.

Well I am sure our ticket office won't be so daft..hopefully.

I think the way we're playing will encourage more than usual to go.

Good luck in your tie.

Will Crawley put out their first team or is the chance of promotion more important to them?

Seriously looking forward to this one. Will gauge our potential competitiveness against a fellow league club next season.

No doubt McD will play the kids. Not trawling thru the "presently out on loan" threads here, but does this mean we could have D'ath, Samual, Hector, Williams, Sheppard etc in for this one? Could give us hope for next season's promotion push.

Also looking forward to McD praising their manager (insert whoever that is) ahead of the game on what a fantastic job he has done in recent years. Hopefully also Zingarevich will also see the direct benefit of real investment in a team.

D'Ath and Taylor have just gone out on loan. I'd like to see Obita and Samuel get a game! Don't expect too many changes tho, Brian will pick a mostly full-strength side.

Really excited for this one.
Hope McDermott does put out a first team. I don't believe that resting first-teamers will have any baring on our sparsely filled fixture list. And anyhow, if we continue to be a bit crap then we might as well go all out for the cup because it might be the only thing to make us smile all season!
