Yeh, Hal always looks like he'd be better better playing narrower.

WEll that's half time.

Both teams had good chances, but I reckon 0-0 is fair so far

It is a bit like the villa game. We are keeping them out at the moment but are offering almost nothing going forward. I can maybe see us sneaking one from a set piece or it being 0-0. If they score first think they will do us comfortably. Think Guthrie needs to come on sometime. BM is often slow to make changes. Hope he is proactive rather than reactive for a change.

blueroyals I don't understand the deal with playing HRK on the right when he's left footed.

Like a shit version of playing Ronaldo on the left.

We are struggling as usual, aren't we. Not much on the bench. Depressing really. Hope we can at least get a point.

When driving with the ball our focus is to always go out wide. Drive into the bloody box. Maybe this will turn into the 2nd half performance against Everton.

12 minutes before we strung 3 passes together. Saints lots of chances and dominating midfield. Our chances fell to Tabb apart from HRK from the corner at the end. Saints had a goal wrongfully disallowed. Roberts and ALF flirting with offside. Federici a good but overly spectacular save. Tabb got fouled into taking out Lallana only for Ramirez to replace him.

0-0 @ HT is positive for us under the circumstances. Maybe second half we can have our typical good spell and somehow hold out for an undeserved 1-0 victory.

Adkins obviously done his homework on HRK and has doubled up on him with his players told to stay tight. I'd like to see more from McAnuff and Shorey on the left to try and make up for that. Ledge has been passable. Morrison recovered from a weak start.

Please bring Guthrie on McD. I know you won't.

That's providing we don't have our traditional post McDermott half-time teamtalk slumber! If we come out half asleep we will be screwed.

Yep BM to keep his favourite Leig on and to replace Tabb with someone at some point whilst putting JM in cm to piss DG off and all Reading fans to boot!!

BM and Leig to have a traditional sherry together after the game.

Can see this going the same way as at Villa - sooner or later they will score from a corner/set piece.

Pretty insipid half from both sides. Saints marginally on top as you'd expect from a home side but no real chances - a Hollywood save from Federici and that's about it. RFC with the chance of the half when HRK hit the beans on toast.

Would like to see us retain a bit more possession higher up the pitch tbh. We've not done much in the way of winning corners/free-kicks which are our main threat.

Hopefully McCarthy, Karacan and Kebe are out for the season. They'll be off the radar when we get relegated and we can hopefully keep them next season.

Saints should be 1 up. Terrible decision to disallow that goal.
