Barney Incredible.

On hobnob, some posters slag off the fans for following 'family friendly' RFC. Then the SAME posters slag off the fans for being a bit laddish and having a few beers.

Let me spell it out for you. Particularly for those posters that don't attend many games. Primarily, RFC has turned itself into predominantly a 'family' club. BUT...there is, and always will be, an element of both older ( circa 1970s) and newer 'lads' that follow Reading.
No different from most/all Prem clubs and most/all towns or cities with a quarter of a million residents.

It happens. It will ALWAYS happen. Reading is a big town. A lot of older and younger 'lads' follow Reading. No different from the majority of other clubs
that are either in the Prem or have a town/city size similar to Reading.

For those that think otherwise, you are living in a land of make believe.

Aldershot away. Ler's have it.
what colour knickers are you wearing Barney?

Just got in. Pretty steamoing tbf.

Best bit of the whole boring arse game was the random fist fight down the right hand side. Everything else was boring as d hell.

The Asian st3eward was a total oxf*rd.

Gamewise we wwere mucxh the better. ALF probs our best pplayer - wide players were really slack. Pearce and Morrison bred for cup ties like that.

I think you've misconstrued what I was laughing at. No matter. Some twat called Avon Royal appears to think I've got off on it. Not sure why but I'm guessing I'll batter the pcunt shortly.

Good to get to a proper away day for the first time in a long time, haven't enjoyed a terrace like that since Torquay away a few years ago. But as others have said may have been because I was behind the goal to the left. Glad Jimmy Kebe's real reasons for not playing today were outed by the fans yet again. Also, you're nothing special we lose every week needs to be started more often.

As for the game, Crawley played such a high tempo game in the first 30 mins that we weren't ready for. They played good Steve Coppell football using strong wing play and seeming to have space to move and cross whenever they got the ball to feet. The quality of finishing bar the first 14 secs were the difference between the two sides today. We took our chances and they couldn't beat Feds who is definitely back to the form we saw last year.

Not sure of the point you're trying to make there Barney.

I've nothing against fans who wanna get pissed and have a laugh, but violence has no place inside any football stadia these days. The 70's can stay in history ta.

And Mags the steward may well have been a c*nt, and those who called him a c*nt have my support, but it doesn't excuse racial abuse.

Right, I'm off for my liberal-induced spunkfest now, sweet dreams HNA.

You complete bellend Barney. 99.99% of Reading fans don't want to be branded as a family friendly club in relation to things like Queensley and goal music. Yes everyone wants a loud atmosphere, but not at the expense of almost taking someone's eye out with a oxf*rd advertising board. I was one 1 row behind that guy.
