Far be it from me to question the mighty JIM, but this thread is about Reading players out on loan is it not, rather than players coming in to the club?

Wimb Hector looking emotional at leaving Aberdeen, D'Ath getting a red card and a host of others getting recalled.

Looks like he wants to go back, even he can see the shambles we are in!!

Michael Hector hopes Reading will allow him to return to Aberdeen on a second short-term loan agreement.

The 21-year-old has seen an initial six-month spell in Scotland come to a close.

He has been forced to return to his parent club at the Madejski Stadium as a result, but is waiting to see what the Royals have planned for him.

Hector's contract is due to expire at the end of the season, so he is keen to put himself in the shop window or complete a permanent switch.

Another stint at Aberdeen would help to keep him in the spotlight, and the versatile defender admits he would jump at the chance to re-join a side pushing hard for cup glory in 2014.

Hector said in the Daily Record: "It could be a very good season for Aberdeen. We are still in both cups and second in the league.

"We can keep that going and maybe win trophies.

"I don't want to miss out on playing in a League Cup semi-final. I will be disappointed if I am not part of it, but it is not down to me. Nigel Adkins is a strict guy so I will have to ask him nicely.

"My team-mates, the fans and the staff at Aberdeen have been amazing to me. It's crazy. Even the staff at Aberdeen airport were wishing me all the best and to have a safe trip."

Dons boss Derek McInnes is another hoping Hector will be heading north again in the near future, but appreciates that he may have to be patient in his pursuit.

He said: "We will keep in touch with Reading and there are still three-and-a-half weeks until the window closes."

Dom Samuel has gone to Daggers for a month. Hope he does well there. He promised a lot but has gone very quiet since 2011/12.

Reckon better off there, no chance of getting in the 1st Team at Reading unless the Reading Strikers start SCORING CONSISTANTLY and maybe will have chance
then as he has no chance whilst they are shit. loooool

He needs to score a goal so he can get his hair cut, so good luck to him.

Yeah bit cringe... he's clearly 'enthusiastic' given the fact he seems to get booked in just about every game. This looks a pretty big loan spell for him really, needs to start making an impression in the league if he wants to fight his way into our midfield... actually looking at our midfield he should be fine ;)

Just had it from a source in Germany, that we are talking to the Schalke Centre back, Felipe Santana over a possible loan move. He's not getting the game time he wants, apparently.

Still decent experience I suppose, plus I swear there's something in these new youth loans that allows him to turn out for our U21 side if we want him to keep playing

Carrico is doing really well must have played 10-11 consecutive games, and according to reports in the Spanish sports
paper "Marca" has been Seville´s best player in nearly every game he has played.every game. They are now 7th in La Liga.

I don´t know what happened when he was at Reading, but he is a revelation now.

Did the other ex Reading "sick note " Jimmy Kebe play for Leeds yesterday?
