seahawk10 Win the playoffs, sell everyone off and let the U21's and anyone on a reasonable wage play next year. Yes we would get thrashed and yes we would go down again but the experience would be invaluable for our younger players and the bottom line would be solidly in the black.

It certainly wouldn't be invaluable to them, it would destroy them.

IF we made it and somehow got to Wembley, I'm not sure I'd want to watch us being oxf*rd by Wigan AGAIN.

Unbelievable Jeff How anyone can turn down a chance of getting promoted to the premier league is beyond me. The financial benefits alone are a great reason on why we should want to go up.

All of this rebuild in the championship for 2 years and then get promoted is utter nonsense. Who knows what is around the corner if we fail to miss out on promotion this year who is to say we have the guarantee of getting promoted 2 years on, it doesn't work like that, for all we know we could be drifting around the bottom of the table in a similar position to teams such as Blackpool, Bolton etc who probably also had the same thought of rebuilding and then go for promotion when they are "ready"

What financial benefits? Yay income goes up. So does expenditure. We made a loss last season.

for it to benefit us we'd have to refuse to compete. Still offloading the likes of Pog.

I'm certain it'll be a QPR v Reading final. I knew this will happen since the beginning of the season.

If it did happen how would they decide who wears the hoops? Or would both teams play in away strips?

Games to look out for this weekend:

Brighton v Yeovil
Burnley v Ipswich
Bournemouth v Forest
Charlton v Blackburn
Derby v Watford

Can definitely see some of the teams slipping up, so a win at Doncaster is a must!

In theory we could secure our spot in the play-offs on Saturday if all games go our way, they won't off course...well it's happened before but it would just be unrealistic, the mighty Brighton losing to Yeovil surely won't happen?

What odds on Billy Sharp to ruin our play-off push?

Whoever finishes higher is the 'home' team in the final. So QPR would wear the hoops.

7 teams who can make 6th with 2 games to go, is this the closest play-off race ever?

FRIDAY

Brighton v Yeovil
An unlikely point for Yeovil would be fantastic

SATURDAY

Key Games

Burnley v Ipswich
Burnley have secured promotion but points off Ipswich would be great
Bournemouth v Nottm Forest
B'mouth cannot now qualify for the playoffs, but points off Forrest would help
Doncaster v Reading
NEED a win!
Charlton v Blackburn
Any points for Charlton would help keep them up and knock Blackburn out the hunt

Relevant

Derby v Watford
Anything other than 3 points for Watford and they're out of it too
Wigan v Blackpool
Blackpool did us a favour on the weekend, any more points here could help us avoid Derby in the playoffs

Doesn't affect us:

Huddersfield v Leicester
Middlesbrough v Barnsley
QPR v Millwall
Sheff Wed v Bolton
Birmingham v Leeds
