Clearly the fact that Karacan has been with the club so long has a bearing on it. Lukaku's moved around a lot. Not to mention that they may have very different personalities.

I would say Lukaku would be in a better position to be a captain with a World Cup under his belt and more life experience at different clubs.

I guess we considered Lukaku as club captain but ruled him out for some reason
