Ian Royal Nah, they'll go four big clubs like Utd v City and Liverpool v Spurs, or two big clubs and a PL chump draw (substitute us for Spurs) over a middling PL club v a struggling PL club.

And our game is pretty much guaranteed goals and excitement.

Two big clubs who have no league titles between them in over quarter of a century?

Poor fishing Ian. I would think a troll like you would have stronger material than this.

Looking back at our previous results, on average we lose every game against Arsenal 3-1

I think it will be an interesting game against Arsenal.

I don't think we will win, but I said that about the Brighton game as well so who knows.

I expect I shall be going to this one, hopefully the tickets will be reasonably priced - no more than £20.

Part of me would like to see Stam take this one really seriously and put a first XI out, however, playing some of the youngsters against a quality team like Arsenal will do wonders for their development and confidence (if we won).

I'm actually fairly happy with that, especially away. At least this way when we lose I'd hope it wouldn't effect our form too much (assuming we're doing well then in the first place).

Nowhere does it say he's an Arsenal fan. Poor evidence right there.

"One day we will play you and not lose"

The insinuation being that we have lost every single game against them and AFAIK Arsenal are the only team to have a 100% record against us.

As to questioning the validity of my claim, I'm pretty sure the only person I can think of sad and lonely enough to lie about something like that is you

I don't think Arsenal have a 100% record against us in all competitions. First of all, their 7-5 win against us needed extra time. It was level after 90 minutes.

Secondly, Didn't we beat them in the London Cup to lift the trophy? That may have been during the second world war. I'm not sure. I think we won 1-0.

The first time I watched Arsenal, it was back in 1987 at Elm Park. They had Charlie Nicholas and Martin Hayes, Perry Groves and Steve Bould, John Lukic and Kenny Sansome. They won 3-1. I want revenge on them for that.

See, that's the reaction when a big club get Reading 8)

You can see how much it means to them.

Look at the one tosser on there saying "remember 6-4". No I don't mate, unless you're referring to your North London rivals result in the FA Cup, 2008.

We have to win this game. Can we? Someone tell me we can?

feeling a bit deflated tbh. Any tie after BHA is a step down in terms of prestige.

Me too...

It's doubtful that there will be such a big crowd in the Emirates as there was at the AMEX also. Being a football fan is all about living for those big cup nights at places like the AMEX playing in front of huge crowds like Brighton get at home.

Err, the 6-4 you refer to was a league result, happened shortly after we lost 7-4 to Portsmouth.

I would expect an allocation of about 6K with the tickets being sold using Royalty Points system.
