RoyalBlue BBC state Villa postponed due to 'Weather', whereas specifically state that Wolves game is postponed due to 'Frozen Pitch'. 'Frozen Pitch'? I thought they were supposed to be a big club?

Postponed on safety grounds apparently.

Another Saturday not ruined by the football.

Cracking result. :D

Actually tbf I'm such a freak, no matter how shit we are I always get excited on football day. It's instantly evaporated the moment we kick off but that's beside the point.

As long as it`s not re-arranged to quickly that's a game we could have Elphick back for, good result.

Ian Royal will probably still over analyse the match and give his in depth report.

If the weather was the same in Wolverhampton as it is in Reading area than this would be a dreadful decision.

All snow melting very quickly around here due to balmy 5 degrees temperatures - but it's still sub-zero up there so fair enough.

So the weather isn’t the same?

From the Birmingham Live site

“With Wolves fans planning to travel from all over the country and Reading supporters coming up from Buckinghamshire, we have made the decision to call the game off now rather than wait and hope that the weather will subside later today.

Great day for us - Birmingham and Bolton lost, Sunderland only got 1, and perhaps of significance - Sheff Wed hammered at Bristol C to put them "only" 3 points above us with a slightly inferior GD to us.

Best Saturday for a while!!

4 points off the bottom 3 with a game in hand, (er, v Wolves away!), over half the times in the mire. Tuesday's match could make our season, assuming weather behaves itself. Roll on Tuesday!!!!

Weren’t similar things said about the Sheffield U game? We all know Parky will have a team of fighters who will be in the players faces throughout. Just better not play the slow, laid back come and get us style from the off or it’ll be another total embarrassment.

Sheff U are a hell of a lot better than Bolton.

This is a team we gifted a 2 goal lead to away and who then proceded to shit a brick at being ahead and let us outplay them to get back to a draw.

They were - but luckily we have another opportunity to put distance between us and the bottom 3 due to the results today

I’m not especially confident, and if we play half as badly as we did against Sheff Utd then we will lose again. We absolutely have to get up for this one. It wasn’t so much slow play against SU as the utter shambles and lack of confidence at the back right from the off

Weather looks fine for next week, no problems there
