Maybe I should have waited till friday to do that! Still good to fight against H&P's abiding pessimism!

Derbyshire Royal Not one of the current squad will ever get a call up to the england team. Not because they dont have the top flight ability (they dont) but until the move to a 'big' club they will never ever ever get selected.

I'll get my coat

Well glad to proved wrong!!

Arch LOL @ those who think Reading will finish as high as ninth.

LOL@ you
er....

oops....

Should have saved my LOLs for the posters who were genuinely being that pessimistic...
It was a direct quote from H&P with about two months of the season to go.

It was actually October and that time he didn't look close to getting a look in for England. Glad to see he proved me wrong and will get one, possibly two caps in the next week but will then ultimately lose out when Cole and Bridge are both fit

The Rouge
alad Lita has no chance of playing for England, just not good enough.

Ashton
Rooney
Owen
Bent
Defoe
Crouch
Walcott
Johnson
Smith

Just a few of those ahead of him in the pecking order.

Shorey has a much better chance.

The Rouge agrees with Alad. (Yes, I did really write that)

Nothing wrong with agreeing with Alad, he's been proved correct again.
