Royalee We need Kitson and Murty back desperately in order to get more than 5 points between now and the new year.

You have to admit the team selection's been changed from the previous games though so that we actually have balance in the side. We now have a proper right back again, a right winger and two players performing well up front. Makes one hell of a difference, although I still want to see us strengthened in the transfer window as we're still buggered if we pick up an injury to Doyle.

Murty and Little coming into the side made a big difference, but so did playing against slightly less good teams.

We're starting to believe the way we did last season and I can actually see us winning all of the remaining 4 of this 8 match run too. We're deadly with momentum behind us and we're fantastic when we've got confidence. We're hard to beat and we can sneak those vital winning goals.

I'd be happy with anything above 18th, but I'm starting to expect a top 10 and think a top 6 is possible.

Happy Days! :)

Just for the record, I've dredged this 3-week old thread up from the depths - and we actually got 13 points from these last 8 games.

The predictions from us all were :
2 pts - 2 people
8 pts - 1 person
9 pts - 4 people
10 pts - 6 people
11 pts - 5 people
12 pts - 5 people
13 pts - 3 people (The_Cat, river_royal, EASTENDER MARKY)
14 pts - 1 person
15 pts - 1 person

Average prediction was 10.39 points, so we over-achieved on expectations.

just shows you, if you read alot of the posts they say words to the effect of "if we can double our points then great" well we did that but the attitude is still doom and gloom, this is surely due to inflated expectations as the boys have done so well, so a big thank you to our team for making me expect too much and for making me strive for more and more from our team!

it's a cliche but if i had been offered this position at the start of the season i would have jumped at it!!
