SouthDownsRoyal Who is Paul Kitson?

Ex WestHam player

He and Hartson kept West Ham up a few seasons back single-handedly with their goals.

Royalwaster This is the best one ever - a two page spread in the Observer today, with an interview and profile of Coppell on one side and along the right hand side a profile of the squad entitled 'Who are they?' with photos and short bio's of each of the players. And next to Sidwell's profile is a photo of ..... Ivar Ingimarsson! Great journalism!

That may just be an elaborate ploy by the RFC management to confuse any opposing sides trying to sign Sidwell in the summer

That SC is damn clever you know

Anyway back to the thread - can anyone explain what Garth Crooks meant when he said last week "I'm not sure about Reading - but then I've never been sure about them"

Yeah I know - but it was the way he said it as well - as if RFC was something you'd wipe off the bottom of your shoe

Have we given him any cause to have any grievance against us or was it just his usual "controversial statement of the week"

You know the one - where the other members of the panel sit there open mouthed and eyes bulging trying not to fall off their seats laughing

That was so.......
He said Ingimarrson's name like it was spelt - which is wrong - and he then said Convey's name like it isn't spelt on his shirt i.e. Convoy.
Sheesh!

Oh come on, you can't expect someone to talk for 90+ minutes and not make mistakes... he impressed me actually; judging by his "predictions" for us this season I thought he'd be more of a oxf*rd.

Russell Fuller Radio 5 Live, 19.06 pm Monday 19th Feb :

And we'd like to hear from West Brom fans about how they feel being just one match away from a tie with Manchester United.

So, Russell, replay already been decided has it? And from the Beeb, too!

Ollie, sort them out!

"Suspended: Andre BIKEY and Michael DUBERRY"

I contacted the BBC who said "We have checked our sources and it seems we were sent wrong information about Duberry's suspension, which it turns out was served on or around December 23. Therefore he is available to make his Reading debut tomorrow.

They've now changed the page. I never realised I had so much power and influence.

If you read that article they've rather glossed over how Kitson got his injury
