Why change a very sucessfull formula?!

Exactly, bring back the team that was playing well earlier in the season.

I'm sure Murts, Little and Sonko would be absolutely delighted to be in a position to do so.

We dominated a team with Seol gaining confidence, Long getting another start under his belt, and Bikey getting a chance to prove himself (which he didn't!)

If all is going well, why upset the rhythm of the match?!

Becuase we had a better chance of winning it with doyle up front instead of long? Who is average at best at the moment.

That I agree with...

Who must I murder for that atrocious Wonderwall song at the end of Sky's coverage?

Probably from the fact that Charlton had 53% of possession. My calculator could be wrong, but I think that that leaves 47% with Reading.

missed the last 15 but I thought Sidders did pretty well, we let teams carve us open through the midfield far too easily, but I think it's more acase of not having the defence and midfield work as one unit to close people down and shut up shop, rather than any big weaknesses anywhere.

Thought Long was a bit of a non entity, but a good chance to give him more experience. Lita is still a bit selfish and looks for the fouls too much. Saying that all he needs is one clear chance and it should be converted.

Ivar was outstanding, Thought Bikey was good, if a little physical as usual. Seol had flashes, but needs to learn to play the ball round the defender rather than straight at him. better, but no where near back to form.

Harper played some good stuff.

All in all too much hoof ball and not enough posession football and passing moves. Both teams very guilty of gifting the ball to the opposition and not getting a foot on it and winning 50-50's properly. Still lacking cutting edge upfront. Our long range shooting needs work, and Shorey needs to practice those freekicks some more.

I thought we looked jaded and just lack our confidence of last year and early season. Nothing is quite going right, too many touches, loose first touch, slightly wayward passing and a lack of decisiveness.

An away point against a team figting for survival (certainly the one that looks most likely to get it) isn't too bad at this stage of the season when you're safe and Europe is drifting from vague possibilty to pipedream.

I think I must have been watching a different game. We dominated and was I alone in thinking that a substitution or two might well have brought us three points? It's the first time I've really been upset with Coppell - surely Oster and Doyle needed to come on, or some change. We should have taken 3 points tonight, and the 'we don't want europe' talk has really taken over.

MOTD producers were so bored of Pardew's interview that they decided to replace it with some plane windows being cleaned. WOW.

Goal Attempts 8 : 14
On Target 5 : 6
Crosses 10 : 11
Corners 1 : 11
Offside 3 : 2
Fouls 13 : 13
Free kicks 16 : 16
% Possession 46 : 54
