Smoking Kills Dancing Doe I hope Kits twated Guillt. Ok it was a red card, but Guillt basically implied that Kits was trying to hurt Evra, which is a fookin disgrace.

he is a oxf*rd! in the sun it said that they had an argument in the tunnel after the game and he told kitson to start playing football properly....so kitson told him to mind his own business :)

It was a reckless challenge - You can't really argue Kitson was sent off. The refs opinion is the one that matters and he made the decision to send him off. I can appreciate arguements for both sides. Another ref on another day may have only issued a yellow. It was borderline.

People are entitled to their opinions in football and that's what Ruud Gullit was there for yesterday. So for Kitson (if its the case) to get upset over Gullits comments is a bit silly. Jamie Redknapp defended Kitson though - so the studio was even divided on the incident.

By the sounds of it Kits wasn;t reacting to any comments made on TV. If Gullit did indeed approach Kits and offer him 'advice' of this sort then Kits has every right to tell him where to stick his advice. It would have been totally out of order for Gullit to talk to Kits in that way and at that time.

If Gullit did approach Kitson and comment on his 'tackle' after the game, then that is out of order!

That red card has been coming for about two years.

Why does Kitson make those mad lunges in those areas (ie 70 yards from our goal). Utterly needless

Yes, ban him from trying to tackle players and blocking clearances.

Rooney made about three of those challenges yesterday but our defenders got out of the way and didn't roll around like babies for half an hour.

soggy biscuit
Behindu Oster's foot was off the ground for the freekick in the 94th minute. Was that considered to be 'controlled' and therefore not a red (or even a yellow ?)

Did Oster's foot make contact with the player, as I stated had to happen for it to be a red card?

Massive change in the laws then - it has always been seen that an offence was treated the same whether contact was made or not - red card for striking or attempting to strike a player for example. Players were not 'let off' becasue they were not good enough to connect with their attempted strike !!

From memory I think Oster's foot did make contact, although only with the raised foot of Evra !

An attempted foul has always been punished the same as a foul. By the rule book, that is.

I don't think Evra really holds any blame for the red card to be fair to him.

Styles had already whipped out his card and was waving it around before Evra even hit the deck.

Who said anything about a tunnel? Some post-match hospitality suite somewhere, I guess.
