Yet meanwhile at Anfield the mighty administration wrecked Luton are holding Liverpool!

It's just like Football Manager.

I certainly recall someone demanding he try playing Long on the wing. I guess that by the end of the night we'll have some idea of Pearce's ability since Spurs are out to win the cup.

Well we conceded a goal from a cross I think, so I guess it's same old story.

Platypuss OS is saying:

Live updates - Reading vs Spurs
Posted on: Tue 15 Jan 2008
Reading 0
Spurs 0

Reading (5-4-1): Federici; Rosenior, De La Cruz, Cisse, Ingimarsson, Pearce; Harper, Shorey, Long, Convey; Lita

Subs: Hahnemann, Henry, Hunt, Cox, Doyle

Is that the special formation designed to combat Berbatov?

Lost by this formation...presumably Rosenior is left back, DLC right back with three centre halves. Shorey is left midfield??!!! Convey right side...Long..oh bollocks I cannot see how this will work out.

How simple do you want it?
5 at the back means 3 centre-backs plus 2 wing-backs.
What a physical midfield 4-ideal to play Man Utd away when we get through?

All very well you saying that clever dick but seeing Shorey in midfield and Long out wide is not the norm is it.

Sorry Pearcey-I thought the ;made it obvious that the 5 shown before the;were the back 5.
As it turns out from a later post these are not the back 5 quoted originally by the official site!!
No wonder our defence is in such a mess when nobody knows where they are playing.

seahawk10 I really want us to play 4-4-2. I hope we are not going with the overly defensive 4-5-1 or even worse 5-4-1. Let's attack! We have nothing to lose!!!
(apart from the game)

Exactly.

We are one goal down, and have we changed the formation back to 4-4-2 yet? Let's fight back!

Hiro, are you listening on your Reading World subscription?

I couldn't get any sound although WMP was showing a stream. Anyone else listening from World. Tried Match Console too and same thing - no sound. BBC only works inside the UK.

I did...Long has pace so lets see if he can use it. I did not demand it though...it was just a suggestion.
